PhD courses are defined by the “Bologna” French Community Decree as the third cycle of university studies leading to the academic title of "doctor", granted after a viva voce, corresponding overall to at least 180 credits (min. 3 years) achieved after an initial course of at least 300 credits leading to the academic title of "master".
