In terms of its internal organisation, the Jean Constant Criminology School of Liège is managed by the School of Criminology Departmental Committee. This Committee functions on the same basis as a Faculty Committee, with the exception that it is presided over by the President of the School and not a Dean.
Side by side with the School Departmental Committee there is also the School of Criminology Board, made up of the President of the School as well as the Secretary. They manage the day to day running of the School.
University regulations also make provision for a Board of Studies within each study pathway.
Students are represented both in the body designed for dialogue (Board of Studies) as well as the decision making body (Departmental Committee) depending on ratios fixed by the ULg's internal regulations. Particular importance is accorded to their presence and participation in debates and decision making and they are regularly asked to give their opinion on the subjects being dealt with.
Furthermore the School of Criminology's small size enables a proximity between students/lecturers/administrative personnel/assistants/researchers etc, which allows a widely used multiform dialogue to settle students' possible problems from day to day, such as better evaluating the teaching programmes.
The student administration body settles all student affairs.
