Funding Research

There are multiple sources for research funding.  The ULg has developed strong support structures and services for research teams. The ULg's Research and Development Department has been organised to respond to the great challenges presented by the subsidising and administrative management of research contracted from public funds, whilst the University-Business Interface Unit provides support for research projects linked directly with business companies.

Funding your personal project

The SI4PP database,

designed for students and university personnel, collates a series of the opportunities for financial support offered by the ULg and by external organisations (Walloon, Belgian and international). It has been designed in such a way that the funding resources which might respond to a personal project can be quickly located.

The David Constant Fund for academic research trips and stays

Each year the David Constant Fund allocates academic research grants with the aim of both inviting a foreign researcher to the Faculty of Law and Political Science or to the School of Criminology, and enabling two researchers from the Faculty or the School to take a research trip abroad. The research trip must be of a duration of a minimum of three months.
