Privatissimum - Roman Law

Fribourg (Prof. Pascal Pichonnaz) - Paris II (Prof. Emmanuelle Chevreau) and Liège (Prof. Jean-François Gerkens).

The Privatissimum is an international discussion Forum devoted to a monograph on Roman Law or the History of Law. It brings together researchers, doctoral students and students in their final year from the universities of Paris II, Fribourg and Liège. It aims to give fledgling researchers and final year students a taste for basic research. It takes place twice a year.

 

2010-2011

Les deux dernières rencontres étaient :

  • Liège, le 17 décembre 2010: Les écrits retenus de commun accord avec les collègues de Fribourg et Paris sont deux gros articles de Robert Jacob : « Jus ou la cuisine romaine de la norme » et « La question romaine du sacer. Ambivalence du sacré ou construction symbolique de la sortie du droit ». 

  • Fribourg, le  4 mars 2011: La monographie retenue de commun accord avec les collègues de Fribourg et Paris sera, pour cette occasion, un ouvrage de Reinhard Zimmermann, directeur du Max-Planck de Hambourg (Roman Law, Contemporary Law, European Law.: The Civilian Tradition Today).
