Preparation for the International Legal English Certificate (ILEC)

Designed by the University of Cambridge, the internationally recognised English exam is a genuine plus for lawyers, jurists and law students who wish to demonstrate their English communication skills in an international juridical context. The preparatory programme is aimed at anyone who wishes to improve their skills in English legal language and/or wants to take the ILEC test. New: Tax Game for the Advanced Masters in Tax Law
Starting from this 2011-2012 academic year, the traditional end of year study project (multi-disciplinary project) can be replacced by participation in a 'Tax Game', which consists of submitting to students a fictive case involving a certain number of practical exercises. Based on real files and documents drawn from practice, the cases cover VAT as well as personal income tax and business tax.

Specialisations in law
The Faculty offers three Advanced Masters in Law: European Law - Competition and intellectual property law (bilingual: English/French), Public Notary Law (2 days of courses/3 days of work placement) and Tax Law (staggered timetable, jointly with the HEC-Management School). Without forgetting the possibility of specialising in another outcome than that of the initial degree (private law, public and administrative law, business law, social law or criminal law)

L'inscription et le paiement de la seconde session doit se faire pour le 11 juillet et le choix des examens que vous représenterez pour le 12 juillet (via MyULg). Vous n'êtes pas obligé de présenter à nouveau les examens pour lesquels vous avez obtenu une note de 10 ou 11. Le Service Guidance Etude est à votre disposition pour vous guider dans un choix réfléchi.
